This privacy policy (‘Privacy Policy’) describes how UNDERBERG JEWELRY, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘we’) collects and processes information about you.

The Privacy Policy applies to personal data that you provide to us or that we collect via UNDERBERG JEWELRY's website, underberg-jewellery.com (the ‘Website’).

UNDERBERG JEWELRY is the data controller of your personal data. All enquiries to UNDERBERG JEWELRY must be made via the contact details listed in section 8.

UNDERBERG JEWELRY COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

What personal data do we collect and for what purposes?

When you visit the Website, we automatically collect information about you, e.g. the type of browser you use, the search terms you use on the Website, your IP address and information about your computer in order to optimise the conversion on the Website, improve it and carry out targeted marketing.

When you purchase a product on the Website, we collect information about you, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, information about which products you purchase and any returned products for the purpose of delivering products to you and to fulfil our accounting obligations.

When you make a purchase, you have the option to consent to receive email marketing. You can withdraw your consent at any time either by logging into your user profile or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the marketing you receive.

What is the basis for the collection?

The collection of data as mentioned in section 2.1.1 is necessary in order for us to fulfil our interests in improving the functions of the Website and its structure and to offer you relevant offers.

The collection of information as mentioned in section 2.1.2 is necessary for us to fulfil our agreement with you.

USE OF DATA PROCESSORS

We use external companies to, among other things, carry out the technical operation of the Website, e.g. our suppliers assist us in connection with targeted marketing, including for retargeting, and improvement of the Website and for your assessment of our products. These companies are data processors and under our instructions and process data for which we are the data controller. The data processors may not use the data for any purpose other than fulfilment of the agreement with us and are subject to confidentiality.

One of these data processors, Google Analytics v/Google Inc, is based in the USA. The necessary safeguards for the transfer of data to the United States are ensured through the data processor's certification under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.

YOUR RIGHTS

In order to create transparency regarding the processing of your data, we, as data controller, must inform you of your rights.

The right of access

You are entitled to request information in writing at any time, including what information we have registered about you, what purpose the registration serves, what categories of personal data and recipients of information there may be, and information about the origin of the information.

The right to rectification

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data about yourself rectified by us. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected.

Information that we have collected in connection with your registration for our customer club can be corrected by you via login to your user profile.

The right to erasure

In certain cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal data deleted by us, e.g. if you withdraw your consent to your registration for our customer club. To the extent that processing of your data is necessary, for example to fulfil our bookkeeping obligations, we are not obliged to delete your personal data.

The right to restrict processing to storage

In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted to storage only, for example if you believe that the data we process about you is incorrect.

The right to data portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit this data to another data controller when we collect your personal data in connection with:
- you purchase a product from us, cf. section 2.1.2

The right to object

You have the right at any time, for specific reasons, to object to our processing of your personal data that we collect for the purpose of improving the functions of the Website and its structure, cf. section 2.1.1.
If you object to the processing, we are no longer entitled to process your personal data unless we can demonstrate legitimate grounds for continued processing.

The right to complain

You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Borgergade 28, 5, 1300 Copenhagen K about our processing of your personal data.

DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

If you do not use our Website for a period of 1 year, we will automatically delete the information we have registered about you, although we may store certain personal data for a longer period to fulfil legal requirements, including requirements in accounting legislation (5 years from the end of the financial year) and consumer legislation (the 2-year right of complaint).

Information that we have collected in connection with your consent for us to send you marketing by e-mail, SMS and post will be deleted if you withdraw your consent, unless we are entitled to continue processing, cf. section 2.

SECURITY

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, altered or impaired and against unauthorised access or misuse.

Only employees who have a genuine need to access your personal data to perform their work have access to it.

COOKIES

UNDERBERG JEWELRY uses cookies to give the user the best experience on the website. A cookie is a file that is stored in your browser on the device you are using and can contain whatever information the website puts in it.
